RenoGreen is our weekly column written by retired builder/contractor Cam Allen. With over 40 years of experience in the building trades, Cam is putting that experience to use by answering any and all questions our readers have about their renovation projects. Every week, we select one response to publish in the column, with an emphasis on improving a building’s energy efficiency and sustainability.

So if you feel stuck on a project or just need a little advice, submit your question in the form at the bottom of any article and Cam will answer it. And it’s not just him answering the questions as he also has a crew of master trades that he calls on for advice specific to a particular trade.
