Job Description
Do your have a passion for building, writing and sustainability? If so then you should know that Green Building Canada is looking for a freelance writer with experience in green building to join the team as a regular contributor or columnist.
The ideal candidate will have experience in both green building and writing. Must have strong writing and research skills and be able to consistently deliver thorough, detailed articles that are both interesting and enjoyable to read.
This is a part-time, remote position.
Responsibilities
- Submit regular articles on topics related to green building
- Consistently meet submission and revision deadlines
- Respond to editor feedback and revise submissions whenever necessary
Requirements
- Strong writing and research skills
- Extensive practical green building experience
- Experience writing about green building is preferred
- Ability to meet deadlines
- Curious, self-motivated, and thorough
