Avalon Mechanical provides engineering services for HVAC, plumbing, and fire suppression design as well as energy management.
Avalon was one of six organizations (including Hydro Quebec and the University of Calgary) to produce reports (September ‘98) concerning technologies that could reduce Canadian greenhouse gas emissions by the year 2030. This Energy Technologies Futures project output is used by Natural Resources Canada as a catalyst for immediate work on energy systems, development of policy, and long term R&D.
Avalon is registered under the BC Green Building Retrofit Program as an approved Owner’s Representative, and is a Certified Consultant in BC Hydro’s Power Smart Alliance. Avalon is a member of the Canada Green Building Council; accredited under LEED® (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design) Program by the US Green Building Council.
