We collaborate with clients to design and build modern-rustic homes and cottages. Our scope also includes condos, multi-unit, mixed use, commercial, offices and civic projects. We are proud to offer our Eco-Kit cottages and modular kitchens to clients looking for a turn key experience.
How long have you been in operation?
Celebrating our 10th year!
What are your credentials?
We are professionally licensed with the Ontario Association of Architects. Both Brenda & Matt are Architecture & Environmental Science raduates of Waterloo University. Working in Toronto for many years, they built a knowledge and experience base to head up North to open their own firm.
Do most of your clients hire you to perform sustainably minded service?
Yes; we work with clients to strategize environmental solutions that suit their needs.
What is your business’ approach to sustainability?
Sharing knowledge and experience with our clients and community is key. Believing that sustainability extends beyond the individual project scale, we also participate with our town’s waterfront development project, downtown revitalization committee and biosphere group. This summer we are very excited to improve our town’s “walkability” through pop-up parkettes and improvements to our trail network.
Can you give a couple of examples of projects you’ve worked on?
Projects that have really aimed towards leaving a light footprint include off the grid homes, straw bale construction and an Eco-Kit cottage.
Have you recorded any testimonials that you can list here or can you provide references if asked by a client?
Our clients would be pleased to share their experience of working together. We hope to add our publications, press and awards to our website shortly.
